Data Wrapper

I elected to use a similar, but still different data set that I used on my assignment for last week. I stayed with hockey and goalie stats, but used a MUCH smaller data set so it would be more manageable. I looked and analyzed Tuukka Rask's stats (Boston Bruins goalie). The following three visuals show his stats in a few different ways:

I really enjoyed using DataWrapper. As someone who was still unfamiliar with excel, I found that is really helped to streamline the process and made it much easier. It felt efficient and easy to use, even with minimal background knowledge of the site and its abilities. I think for younger kids DataWrapper could be a great tool as Excel could be really confusing and it is easy to make a mistake on excel. DataWrapper can help students achieve the same outcome with visualizing data. 

After last week, my biggest issue was using too large of a data set so I was able to fix that this time around. The smaller data set made the visualizations much easier to understand and play around with on DataWrapper. I found that I was still able to interpret the data from the donuts and pie charts and it helped break down each category further for deeper analysis.
